Addison’s first bath

Addison had her first bath and liked most of it. We bumped up the heater in the house, warmed up some water, and let her have it. She cried a little bit, but did pretty good. She absolutely loves getting her hair washed though. As soon as you put her head under the water she calms right down. We think she’s going to love the water just like her brother.

Welcome Baby Addison

Tanner is now officially a big brother! Addison was born on Christmas Eve at 10:24 am. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces and 19 inches long. That’s a few ounces more than Tanner and a few inches shorter.

A quick sequence of events: contractions start at 2 am, Jill wakes Brandon up at 3 am, Grandma and Aunt Jenni arrive at 5:30 am to take care of Tanner, we arrive at the hospital at 6:15 am, and Addie is born at 10:24 am.

“Jill is my hero.” -Brandon

“Where are they?” asked Tanner. “They’re at the hospital,” Jenni replied. “For Baby Addison to be born?”

“Can you show the bear to Baby Addison?” Jill asked. Tanner then shows the bear to Jill’s belly button — don’t worry, he gets it now.
